Northbound Collision on Boston Post Road

According to state police reports, the accident took place around 1 a.m. on Boston Post Road, where 19-year-old James Willis was driving northbound. For reasons yet to be determined, Willis lost control of his vehicle, veering off the road and onto the left shoulder.

The Impala continued its trajectory, careening into the front yard of a property located at 50 Boston Post Road. There, it collided with a parked car, causing significant damage to both vehicles. The force of the impact was so great that the Impala then rolled over, coming to a stop at 52 Boston Post Road, where it came to rest in an embankment.

Emergency Response and Hospitalization

The Old Lyme Fire Department and emergency medical personnel were promptly dispatched to the scene, responding to the reported accident. Willis, who had sustained serious injuries, was transported by Life Star helicopter to Hartford Hospital for immediate medical attention.
